Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA)
Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), former Department of Protective Systems (DPS) is the regulatory authority of Dubai Police for Security system solutions in the Emirate of Dubai. SIRA has specified the minimum requirement of Security surveillance systems in general public area, malls, restaurants, shops, hospitals, hotels and other high value metal commodities show rooms, shops and ware house. This is to ensure the protection for capital investments and any other security threats and incidentals. Dubai Police has access to certain areas of the security systems provided in these locations and they receive an alarm. FOSS has been trained and accredited by SIRA to install these systems.
Abu Dhabi Monitoring and Control Centre (MCC)
Abu Dhabi Monitoring and Control Centre (MCC) is an institution established under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, as stated in Law No. (5) with the aim to manage and regulate the use of monitoring and control devices systems in public and private facilities and analyse the data provided by the devices, so as to prevent crimes and detect offenders and maintain public security in the Emirate. The MCC issued a license to FOSS which allows us to sell, install and maintain physical security and surveillance systems, security access control and alarm equipment within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Distribution Company and Al Ain Distribution Company
FOSS operates a continual improvement policy with regards to quality management. We are proud to announce that we have trained field staff that are now certified by both ADDC (Abu Dhabi Distribution Company) and AADC (Al Ain Distribution Company). ADDC and AADC Competency Certifications enables FOSS to work on or near network equipment (electricity and / or water) under the remit of ADDC and AADC. As an approved contractor, ADDC and AADC have certified FOSS to have shown a strong commitment to enhance the HSE culture throughout the organisation; identify and focus on HSE critical risks which have the highest potential for fatal injuries and prevent reoccurrences of accidents and violations to ADDC and AADC SSR which contributes to injuries and fatalities. In addition to HSE competency, FOSS has attained Technical Certification from ADDC and AADC and as such has shown a high degree of skill, knowledge and expertise in regards to telecommunication field works. FOSS is the only company in the UAE to hold both ADDC and AADC accreditations and are permitted to work on fibre optic communications networks for utilities.
